Filipino Wooden Bird Craft with colours painted on it, hanging by some string.

About the Event

Create Your Own Filipino Mythical Bird at Mandurah Museum!

Join our hands-on holiday craft session to make a wooden Filipino mythical bird mobile that can flap its wings.

This colourful bird, called the Sarimanok, is a symbol of good fortune and prosperity in Filipino culture.

Children will sand, assemble, and decorate their own bird, bringing this magical creature to life.

Bring your creativity and take home your very own flying Sarimanok!
