About the Event
*Event Cancelled*
We’re doing a big check-in on Mandurah’s plan for the future, and we want to hear what matters to you, so that together, we can create a brighter future for our city.
This is your chance to take centre stage and share your big idea on how to make our city even better at the Mandurah Matters Big Check-in Soapbox event.
It works like this…
Register you or your group. Be quick as numbers are limited.
Join the Mayor, Councillors and other locals at Nabo at 5pm on Thursday 31 August to present the one thing you would like to see happen in Mandurah over the next 20 years. Or tell us what we can do to either connect our people, improve health outcomes, nurture our environment, or strengthen our local economy.
The soapbox will be yours so be as creative as you like.
There’ll be refreshments, fun, plenty of ideas to share and prizes up for grabs!
If you don’t feel up to standing up in front of a bunch of people, you can also submit your ideas to Community.Plan@Mandurah.wa.gov.au.
Another option is to let us know what you think via the online survey by 4pm on Thursday, 31 August. Hard copies of the survey are also available at the City's Administration Building, Libraries (Mandurah, Lakelands, and Falcon), Billy Dower Youth Centre, Mandurah Aquatic & Recreation Centre (MARC), Contemporary Art Spaces Mandurah (CASM), Seniors and Community Centre, and the Visitor Centre.
Your feedback is super important to us.
If you’d like to know more about the journey Mandurah's been on since 2018 when you told us what mattered most, check out www.mandurahmatters.com.au/communityplan.
