on one half, a man wearing a yellow shirt and overalls is doing a handstand, surrounded by toys. On the other side, a man wearing all black is reclined lazily, and has scribbles covering his eyes an circling his head.
Join 'perhaps, theatre.' for a night of storytelling theatre, built in and for the Mandurah community.

About the Event

‘perhaps, theatre.’ are proud to present a night of community stories and music, as they debut two brand-new shows built in and for the Mandurah community.

These performances take real stories from Mandurah locals and turn them into experimental, verbatim theatre unlike anything you’ve ever seen before – connecting audiences through music, poetry, and play.

‘the worst of us.’ reveals anonymous confessions of the worst things people have ever done, inviting us to reflect on the ways we’ve failed and hurt one another and how we can begin to forgive ourselves.

play.’ - a show about play for grown ups, this performance uses a unique form of theatre that integrates play into performance. It asks its audience to come together to tell stories, play games, and ask: ‘can we still play?’.

This moving night of theatre will be supported by musical acts before and between the shows, inviting you to take an evening away from your everyday life to connect with yourself and your community.
