About the Event
Running from 2–10 May, Mandurah Open Studios is a free, self-guided event that takes place across two weekends, giving you the opportunity to explore studios throughout the city, meet local artists and discover the stories behind their work.
Previously known as Peel Open Studios, the event has evolved with a new name that celebrates its creative heart: Mandurah. While the name has changed, the spirit remains authentic, local, and artist-led.
Explore the Studio Trail
The Studio Trail is the heart of Mandurah Open Studios.
Across the event weekends, artists from a wide range of disciplines, including painting, ceramics, textiles, photography and sculpture, will open their studios to the public.
From home studios to shared creative spaces, each stop offers a unique insight into the creative process. Visitors are encouraged to take their time, ask questions and connect with the artists behind the work.
With studios located across Mandurah, you can create your own trail and explore at your own pace.
Start with the Exhibition
Before heading out on the trail, visitors can explore the Mandurah Open Studios Exhibition at the Alcoa Mandurah Art Gallery.
Featuring works by participating artists, the exhibition offers a preview of the styles, materials and creative practices you’ll encounter across the studios. It’s the perfect starting point to help plan your visit.
