The event will bring together local families, parents, carers and community members for a morning focused on connection, conversation and support.
Hosted at the Child and Parent Centre in Dudley Park, attendees will have the opportunity to connect with local mental health and wellbeing services and learn more about the importance of checking in with the people around you.
There will be plenty of activities for all ages to enjoy, including a free sausage sizzle, morning tea, the popular Old MacDonald's Animal Farm, and a variety of craft activities.
Community organisations and service providers will also be on hand to share information, resources and support services available throughout Mandurah. These activities are designed to create opportunities for families to spend time together, meet new people and strengthen their sense of connection within the community.
R U OK? Day reminds us that a simple conversation can make a meaningful difference. By encouraging people to ask, listen and support one another, we can help reduce social isolation, build resilience and foster a more connected and caring community.
Whether you're attending with family, friends or on your own, everyone is welcome to be part of this important day.
A Visual Story is available to help you prepare for your visit and understand what to expect before arriving.
This event is supporting a healthy and connected Mandurah.
