Current volunteering opportunities
The Museum welcomes volunteers with a passion for local history and community. We offer flexible volunteer opportunities across three main areas:

Help document and care for the Museum’s collection of historical items. Volunteers assist with object handling, data entry, and collection organisation.

Support exhibitions, publications and community inquiries by delving into archives, old newspapers, and historical records. Volunteers in this area enjoy detail-oriented work and a curiosity about the past.
