Join us for Speaker Spotlight: Waste and Recycling Made Easy with Mel Agnew from Cleanaway, supported by Amy MacKenzie, Waste Education Officer with the City of Mandurah. 

As a proud Mandurah resident, Mel has worked as a Sustainability Officer with Cleanaway for more than two years and is passionate about helping people make informed choices about waste and recycling in everyday life.

This practical and engaging session will explore what can and can't go in your recycling bin, common items that often cause confusion, and simple ways to reduce waste at home. You'll learn how small changes can make a positive environmental impact while helping to keep valuable materials out of landfill.

Mel and Amy will also share useful information about local waste and recycling services available to Mandurah residents, answer common questions, and bust some of the most common recycling myths.
