This in-depth, 2-hour presentation will feature acclaimed American plein air artist Greg Barnes as he explores the key elements that make paintings connect with collectors and audiences. Focusing on emotional resonance and visual impact, Greg will share practical insights into composition, colour, light, storytelling, and decision-making in the field, while also delivering a live pastel painting demonstration.

About the Artist – American artist Greg Barnes has been painting professionally since 2002, inspired to pursue his passion following the events of 9/11. Working in pastel and oils, he is renowned for his evocative plein air landscapes and dynamic teaching style. An award-winning artist and sought-after instructor, Greg's work has been featured in PleinAir Magazine and The Pastel Journal.
