Grant funds are available to assist non-profit recreation clubs and community groups to conduct community based events that encourage participation whilst promoting health and well being benefits of sport and physical activity to people living in the Mandurah area.

Community Event Support Grant

Grant funds are available to assist non-profit recreation clubs and community groups to conduct community based events that encourage participation whilst promoting health and wellbeing benefits of sport and physical activity to people living in the Mandurah area.

Grant items that may be eligible for funding support include:

  • First Aid
  • Promotion and Advertising
  • Traffic Management
  • Waste Management (bins)
  • Portable Toilets
  • Shade/Shelters
  • Venue Hire Fees fpr City of Mandurah facilities, parks and reserves )
  • Community Coaching/Skill Development
The maximum financial annual grant amount available is up to $3,000. Applications must be submitted no later than 8 weeks prior to your event. 

External Event Support Grant

Grant funds are available to assist external event delivery agents (including state and national sport and recreation associations) to conduct events in Mandurah, that encourage participation and promote the health and well being benefits of physical activity. The City will assess and make recommendations on all grant/sponsorship requests up to $10,000. For grant request greater than $10,000, the City will submit a report to Council for approval.
