At the Mandurah Libraries we offer a range of training courses and workshops catering to all skill levels.
Mandurah Digital Hub
Learn how to use your computer, tablets and smart phone. We provide free computer training courses in the Digital Hub. Training is done in small groups, or you can book a one on one session. Classes are available for complete beginners to intermediate learners.

- One on one training for any level
- Online job applications
- Using the myGov website
- Skype for beginners
- Exploring your Family History with Ancestry.com
- Introduction to iPad and tablet use
- How to download eBooks
- How to read free online magazines
The FabLab @ the Falcon eLibrary and Community Centre
The FabLab is a makerspace at the Falcon eLibrary and Community Centre where you can learn how to use the 3D printer, sewing machines , electronics and programming or share your skills with others.
The FabLab currently offers:
- 3D Printing service
- 2 sewing machines and 1 overlocker
- CoderDojo, a free coding club for ages 7-17 years
- Adult and children's maker workshops
- Drop in sessions
International Games Day
Each year in November Mandurah Libraries participate in International Games Day, along with libraries across the world. International Games Day celebrates literacy, learning and the community through playing games.
This year International Games Day included quidditch, a trivia afternoon and a Super Smash Bro tournament on Wii U. The library also hosts other board games and mental games throughout the day. Make sure you join us next year, on Saturday, 17 November!
Hour of Code
Are you interested in learning to code? Hour of Code is a free hour-long workshop that takes you through a step-by-step guide of learning to code. Run through an Hour of Code workshop to make your own Star Wars game or design Frozen-themed snowflakes in a drop-in session at the Digital Hub.
