Giants of Mandurah by Thomas Dambo - Halls Head

Mandurah’s much-loved Giants sculptures will be undergoing routine maintenance works from next week to keep them looking their best for visitors and the community.

People planning to visit the Giants of Mandurah over the next three weeks should be aware that access to these larger-than-life creations will be restricted during week days while the works are being completed. The Giants will be re-opened to visitors on weekends.

The Giants will be cleaned, re-coated and checked for minor wood restorations. Temporary fencing and signage will be in place during the works.

The Giant closures are as follows:

  • Coodanup Giant, Yaburgurt Cirkelstone – closed Wednesday 8 May to Friday 10 May (4pm)
  • Lake Clifton Giant, Jyttes Hytte – closed Monday, 13 May (7am) to Thursday, 16 May (4pm)
  • Lakelands Giant, Little Lui – closed Wednesday, 15 May to Friday, 17 May (4pm)
  • Halls Head Giant, Santi Ikto - closed Monday, 20 May to Thursday, 23 May (4pm)
  • Wannanup Giant, Seba’s Song – closed Wednesday, 22 May to Friday, 24 May (4pm)

This timeline will be adhered to as closely as possible, however if inclement weather impacts delivery, an updated schedule will be prepared to inform visitors.
